Just The Way We Are by Fanny Levin

Are violets jealous of gardenias?
Do maple trees compete with eucalyptus trees,
or redwoods with oak trees?
What do they know of jealousy or competition?
We are all magnificent expressions
of God’s exquisite garden.
We are extraordinary
just the way we are.
Do maple trees compete with eucalyptus trees,
or redwoods with oak trees?
What do they know of jealousy or competition?
We are all magnificent expressions
of God’s exquisite garden.
We are extraordinary
just the way we are.
“I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works, and my soul knows it very well.” –Psalm 139:14 NASB

Every person , women and men alike , need to read this poem. I know it is an anointed poem , just as the scripture you have with it. It will be used to set many people free. Thanks for sharing.

Beautifully written and it makes perfect sense. Why can’t we look at ourselves that way …as God sees us.

The words speak volumes on the way general thoughts are battered into thinking in set ways and expectations always above the possibility of accomplishment. “Never Satisfied” should be inscribed over the doors of every boutique, hair dresser and retail store. This is the worldly trying to exploit the Godly - we need to be aware of this at all times. We are Gods masterpiece - His creation - are we challenging His style of perfection?
