The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) just announced their “Book of the Year” award for 2008 has been awarded to the Word of Promise Audio Bible.

Thomas Nelson CEO Mike Hyatt commented, “It’s the first time in the 30-year history of the award that it went to a non-book. Think about it. First, it’s an audio Bible, rather than a traditional print book. Second, it’s a Bible rather than a book. . . Personally, I think that this proves the Bible is more relevant than ever.”
